Responsibilities

• Provide infrastructure design and automation, service operation, delivery, scale, and observability
• Engage in and improve the lifecycle of services from build to deployment, launch review, operation, and refinement
• Scale systems sustainably via automation and evolve systems by advocating for changes that improve reliability and velocity
• Participate in incident response and blameless postmortems
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required
• 5-7 years of production engineering experience in deploying and supporting n-tier responsive web applications
• Proficiency in at least one modern automation scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.
• Proficiency in build and deployment activities with the Microsoft and Azure Cloud ecosystem
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tooling such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.; ability to work with APIs and Plugins to integrate tooling into established Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Experience delivering automated infrastructure using components in Azure DevOps or other equivalent tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Terraform
• Experience with containerized deployments using tooling in Azure DevOps or equivalents such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to debug, optimize, and automate routine tasks

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
