This is Kevin Kruse. He interviewed:• 239 Entrepreneurs• 13 Olympic Athletes• 29 Straight-A StudentsTo find out the secrets successful people use to manage their time. Here are the 10 techniques he found:10. Time tracking.Monitoring how your time is spent on different activities helps identify inefficiencies & areas for improvement.By tracking your time…People can gain insights into their work habits & make adjustments to optimize their productivity.9. Delegate.Successful people delegate tasks that can be done by others. This allows them to free up their own time for activities that actually require their expertise. All high-level entrepreneurs & billionaires are experts at delegating “busy work.”8. Focus.Successful people maintain a clear focus on tasks…While avoiding multitasking & minimizing distractions.By concentrating on one task at a time, you’re more efficient & effective in less time.7. Mindfulness. The power of breathing is underrated. It can help you:• Reduce stress• Stay present• Focus& when you have all of these things down, you’ll be able to get a lot more work done.6. Learning to say “Yes”While it's important to say no to non-essential tasks…Successful people also recognize the value of saying yes to opportunities that align with their long-term goals.Say “yes” to events like mastermind or networking events.5. Automation.Leveraging technology and automation tools streamlines repetitive tasks and saves time.By automating routine processes like:• Emails• Data entry• Social media postingYou can focus your energy on more important tasks that move the needle.4. Time Blocking.I use time blocking almost every day. Here’s how to do it:Block out time periods for focused work on important tasks.Make sure you plan exactly how long, exactly what you’re working on & exactly what the goal is for the work session.3. Prioritize.Successful people understand the importance of differentiating between tasks that are important…Vs tasks that are “urgent.”They always prioritize the important tasks before dealing with the “urgent” ones.2. Plan.Always plan your days the night before.Set clear goals & objectives then break them down into small, actionable steps.Planning helps you stay organized & ensures you’re using your time effectively. No “guesswork.”1. Reflection.Regularly reflect on what's working & what's not working for your productivity/time.This allows you to find what works best for you.& experiment with new tactics that might help you manage your time more effectively. What's your best time management tip?

Weak leaders make weak teams. Authentic entrepreneurs make authentic businesses. Steal my 10 simple rulesets for staying strong & authentic: →✅ 1)Strength→ The ability to cope with uncertain futures. Endurance. → Take ownership of what you did, do, and will do. ✅ 2)Train→ At least 3 x per week. → 5 x is better. → Do BJJ. It help you push your boundaries & strengthens confidence.✅ 3) Health. → Breath.→ Eat real food. Not junk. → Train intermittent fasting.→ Drink water. No alcohol or drugs. → Take a 30 second cold shower daily. (Allow yourself to ‘cheat’ only once a week. You'll soon notice that you don't need junk food, drugs, or alcohol anyway.) ✅ 4)Sleep. → Vital for your mental health. → “Pulling all-nighters” sounds cool. Yet isn’t. (It shows that you are not in control of your own situation.)✅ 5)Spirit. → Remove toxic people from your surroundings. → Believe in yourself. → Face your demons. → Read Stoic literature.✅ 6)Family. → If you are with your family, be with them physically and mentally. → Not with your business. (When you are in your dying days, they will take care of you. Not your business.)✅ 7)Fail. → Don't be afraid of failure. → Smooth seas have never produced great captains. → Make mistakes. → Learn from them. → Just keep moving. ✅ 8)Truth. → Don’t fear it. → Accept reality as it is. Embrace it. Love it. → Improve the situation from there. → Tell the truth– or, at least, don't lie.✅ 9)Others. → Forge deep friendships. → Don't worry about what others think of you. → Just be a great, strong, caring person. → If somebody still doesn't like you, they’re jealous and not worth your time. → Let them go. ✅ 10)Create positive value. → Create value first. → Money will follow. → Value is created by humans for humans. Anything else is a bubble. → Automation, AI, Robots & IT are simply tools that serve a master. (For good or for bad.)These are the rules that make my Life Operating System. ❓ Do you have a set of rules that you operate by?↓↓↓👋Hi, I’m Remko. Engineer. Designer. Entrepreneur. How I guide entrepreneurs from feeling overstretched and spread thin with just 2 questions + a few actionable steps.↴2 questions I ask my clientsto consider:How do you prioritise tasks? What more can you automate or delegate?A few things to keep in mind:→ Automation and delegation are your allies.→ Balance is achievable with the right tools.→ Goals should dictate actions.→ Prioritisation is an art.Reality Check:Time spent on non-value adding activities often exceeds 40%.That's 2 days out of every 5 wasted on stuff that is not giving value back to your business.Your Action Plan:→ Keep your goals in clear view to guide and govern your actions.→ Use technology to automate repetitive tasks & create some noise-free headspace.→ Identify your highest value activities and prioritise these.→ Delegate everything else & empower your team to succeed.Common Challenges:→ "I'm used to doing it all myself/If I don't do it it won't get done (or won't get done right)."Reframe: If I do it all then balls will be dropped and opportunities will be missed.→ "Everything feels important & urgent/My business will burn down if I don't do it."Reframe: The long term success of your business relies on you focusing on the long term strategies.→ "I lose sight of my goals because I'm constantly fire fighting."Reframe: Every fire you fight is a clue to the successful systemisation of your business.→ "Delegating is difficult & managing takes more effort than it saves."Reframe: Every hour you spend delegating is an investment that pays exponential returns.Success is built on:→ Effective prioritisation→ Leveraging team & technology→ Goal-oriented, intentional focusFrom the trenches of running a small healing business to leading a team at Athena Consulting, I've learned the power & importance of creating efficiency - not just in your business operations, but across all facets of your life to create a lifestyle fuelled by freedom.__P.SFollow me @ Frances Quinn to get more insights!- https://lnkd.in/g2qteNgS-https://lnkd.in/gW8jSKts-https://lnkd.in/gZz7EXXTP.P.S.This is a photo of me relaxing by the pool in Bali, because my team walks the walk and talks the talk of business efficiency.Join me in discovering how streamlining your business can also streamline your life, making room for growth, fulfilment, and freedom.

🇺🇸 **Mastering Time Management: A Key to Entrepreneurial Success**Time management is a critical skill for entrepreneurs striving to achieve success in today's fast-paced business world. Drawing insights from "Decisive" by Chip Heath and Dan Heath, we can understand the importance of making well-thought-out decisions efficiently. As entrepreneurs, every decision we make can significantly impact the trajectory of our ventures. One valuable strategy for effective time management is the Eisenhower Matrix, a technique popularized by Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States. This matrix categorizes tasks into four quadrants based on their urgency and importance. By prioritizing tasks based on these criteria, entrepreneurs can focus on activities that truly drive their business forward. For example, spending time on crucial tasks like product development or client acquisition (important and urgent) should take precedence over less critical activities. Moreover, the Pareto Principle, also known as the 80/20 rule, underscores that 80% of our results come from 20% of our efforts. Applying this principle helps entrepreneurs identify the most productive tasks and allocate their time and resources accordingly. For instance, by identifying the 20% of tasks that yield 80% of the results, entrepreneurs can optimize their productivity and achieve more in less time.In addition to these strategies, effective delegation is key to maximizing time efficiency. As mentioned in "Leaders Eat Last" by Simon Sinek, empowering and trusting your team to handle certain tasks can free up your time to focus on high-level strategic initiatives. Delegating tasks that others can perform well allows entrepreneurs to concentrate on activities that require their unique expertise and leadership.Furthermore, adopting a growth mindset, as discussed in "Mindset: The New Psychology of Success" by Carol S. Dweck, can help entrepreneurs view time management challenges as opportunities for growth and development. Embracing setbacks as learning experiences and seeking feedback for improvement are essential aspects of this mindset. In conclusion, mastering time management is vital for entrepreneurial success. By leveraging strategies like the Eisenhower Matrix, the Pareto Principle, effective delegation, and a growth mindset, entrepreneurs can enhance their productivity, make informed decisions, and propel their businesses to new heights.#TimeManagement #Entrepreneurship #DecisionMaking #ProductivityIllustration credits: (c) 2024 Loukoum.ai AI generated
