If cooking isn't your thing, don't worry. Thanksgiving won't be a problem with the help of these Sioux Falls restaurants and caterers.
Options range from already-made, take-home meals to custom-made meals for the holiday. But, nearly all restaurants have a deadline for the orders, so be sure to order soon. Here's a closer look at those dates ahead of Turkey Day. In the meantime, keep an eye out for an Argus Leader list of restaurants that'll be open on Thanksgiving.

Big J’s Roadhouse, Harrisburg:
Big J's Roadhouse in Harrisburg is selling smoked turkey ahead of the holiday. People can purchase just the turkey or a meal that comes with 4 pounds of homemade sides. Calls for orders should be made a few days in advance.
Chef Ellen:
Order for between one to 20 people for a mix and match main and side dish menu. Order online by Friday.
Chef Jeni:
A Dinner Birdie Thanksgiving TV dinner for one from Chef Jeni comes in a disposable oven tray with turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberries and stuffing for $19.98. Dessert items for one can be added as well. Orders can be made online by Friday and picked up Nov. 23.
CNC Food Factory:
Call or email to preorder a meal by Friday. Pick up the day before Thanksgiving. The meal features turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, cream cheese corn, stuffing, a dinner roll and a dessert bar.
Cracker Barrel:
The Cracker Barrel's Heat n' Serve feast is a traditional Thanksgiving meal serving between eight to 10 people. The meal includes two oven-roasted turkey breasts, cornbread dressing, turkey gravy, cranberry relish, sweet potato casserole with pecans, choice of two country sides, sweet yeast rolls, pumpkin pie and pecan pie. A 24-hour notice is needed for online orders, which are available for pick up between now and Nov. 26.
Daily Clean Food & Drink:
The healthy-eating restaurant featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives will offer a holiday vegetable tray and dessert tray, which caters to gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free and vegan guests. The restaurant will take orders through the morning of Nov. 22 for pickup on Nov. 23.

En Place Catering:
From the owners of Bread and Circus, En Place Catering is offering a dinner featuring everything from a herb-brined and roasted Ferndale turkey to sides such as crème fraiche crushed new potatoes, apple and fennel sausage stuffing, roasted brussels sprouts with a bacon vinaigrette and goat cheese, or green bean casserole with mushrooms and herbs. Order online for pickup or delivery.
Famous Dave's:
Holiday meal boxes will come in two sizes and feature smoked ham, beef brisket and sides of potatoes, corn, mac & cheese and cornbread muffins. Boxes can be ordered over the phone or online through the day before Thanksgiving.
Fat Kid Filly's:
The Sioux Falls food truck is doing something a little different this year by offering custom holiday meals through the end of the year. There will be a variety of shredded meats, including smoked turkey, and as well as sides and desserts to choose from. Customers should order at least 48 hours in advance. Tax and delivery charge included.
Hy-Vee:
Although the grocery store won't be open on Thanksgiving this year, several options for holiday meals will be available through Hy-Vee catering. Options include turkey, ham and prime rib dinners along with choices of desserts and sides, such as pies, white cheddar macaroni, mashed potatoes or green bean casserole. Curbside pickup available on Thanksgiving Day from 8-11 a.m., and the deadline to order is Nov. 22.

Kabab King:
The Mediterranean food truck-turned-restaurant will be serving up a Thanksgiving take-home meal that includes kababs, chicken shish tawook, lamb chislic pieces, shawarma, and other others and appetizers. Orders can be made by calling 605-275-4976 or 605-610-7306.
Look's Marketplace:
The Sioux Falls restaurant and grocery store is offering custom-made Thanksgiving meals this holiday as well as the option to take home bakery boxes. The full menu can be found online. Orders can be made by calling 605-336-3104 and pickup will be Nov. 23.
Sioux Falls Food Co-op:
Order options ranging from roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, sweet potato gratin, quinoa stuffed acorn squash, green bean casserole and pumpkin tarts. Prices range by what you order. Order online, and the deadline is Tuesday.
Umami Café:
Umami Café and Catering, one of Sioux Falls' newest restaurants, is serving custom take-home meals for Thanksgiving with multiple side and entrée options to choose from. Customers must order by Nov. 20 and can pick up between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving day.
